Invisalign^® Costs

Our Invisalign^® fee is all-inclusive. It covers the initial consultation, diagnostic x-rays, photographs, scanning and impressions, every visit throughout treatment, all of your aligners, a free set of retainers at the end, and a teeth whitening procedure to finish. There are no separate charges for these along the way.

No. That is the point of quoting a single all-inclusive figure rather than pricing each element separately. You will be given the full cost for your case before you decide to proceed, so you can weigh it up without wondering what might be added later.

Fees depend on what your smile needs, because a case involving minor alignment and one involving a significant bite correction are genuinely different amounts of treatment. We give you an exact figure for your own case at the consultation, once we have examined your teeth and know what is involved. Please call the office and we will arrange that.

Many plans include orthodontic benefits that apply to aligner treatment, though the amount, any lifetime maximum, and age restrictions vary considerably between policies. Our office staff will check your specific coverage and tell you what your plan contributes before you commit, so the figure you are weighing is what you would actually pay.

Yes. Most patients spread the cost over the course of treatment rather than paying in full at the outset, and we can talk through the options available. Please raise it at your consultation, or call the office beforehand if it would help to know what is possible before you come in.

Orthodontic treatment is commonly an eligible expense under flexible spending and health savings accounts, and many patients use these funds toward it. Rules differ between plans, so confirm with your plan administrator. If it helps, we can provide documentation of your treatment and its cost for your submission.

For comparable cases the two are broadly similar, and the gap is usually narrower than patients expect. Where your insurance includes orthodontic benefits, they generally apply either way. If cost is the deciding factor between the two, we will give you the figures for both so you are comparing real numbers rather than assumptions.

Your first set of retainers is included in the fee. Retainers matter a great deal, because teeth drift back toward their old positions without them, and replacing them is far cheaper than repeating treatment. If a retainer is later lost or damaged, a replacement can be made, and we will tell you the cost at the time.
